Conover Storm Waters Flood a Home
The flowing water through the french doors created a large pool of water that ruined the carpeting that was laid over the concrete pad. Our SERVPRO of Catawba West crew of Applied Structural Drying Technicians removed the ruined carpet and padding and very systematically dried out the concrete pad. This was critical because the owners wanted an engineered wood veneer flooring installed instead of new carpeting. We set up multiple air movers and desiccant dehumidifiers to capture and contain the water molecules in the air to reduce the drying time of the concrete. We worked for four days on this to ensure that the moisture level was okay to install the new flooring. We do it right, saving problems down the line. Need some help? Call us at (828) 322-4400.
